  1. Great article. I think the best way to earn from courses is to start your Youtube channel and provide some value. Later when you reach some number of subscribers, you can create your own website with the courses and earn the full amount without giving a commission to Teachable and Thinkific. Do you agree?

    • Building any audience prior to launching your course is absolutely the way to go.  If you’re not keen on the SaaS model these two options provide you I definitely recommend you check out LearnDash as a solution for building out your course on WordPress.

  2. Hi, thank you very much for this post. After reading your points and aproving both platforms, I have made up my mind to use Teachable. Or at least I’ll start using them as my first option. I really like the marketing campaigns integration. I have been getting started with MailChip and am excited to use it with Teachable.

    • Thanks for commenting Paolo!  You can’t go wrong with Teachable, I’m certain you’ll be happy with your decision.  Be sure to check out some of our articles on marketing your course!

  3. This two platforms have so many great potential and I admire how you can give us a broad connection that there is between the two platforms and which is better. I am a blogger and also a writer so I think it’s good that I came across this post – when it came time to choose where I would build my courses.

    • I’m glad you enjoyed the article Payton – These are the two major players on the market today so I’m confident you would enjoy either of these platforms for building out your course materials.
